  We, Elizabeth and Linda, both Mitchells but unrelated, met at writing class some 12 years ago, and several years later we decided to work together as co-authors on 'Revenge: Blood Runs Deep' under the name  Mitchell & Mitchell. Linda is the main wordsmith, Elizabeth the primary plotter.

 

 We are proud of the book, the result of much enjoyable research, (who would have thought that the rocking chair was not invented until 1766?). The book has so far received 29 excellent reviews on Amazon averaging a 4.9-star rating - more reviews on Amazon always welcome.

 

 'The ‘Bookbag’ site gave us 4 stars, their reviewer stating you did not have to be a fan of history to enjoy our story, and she did not see the main turn of events coming with its enjoyable, tense plot, and likeable central character.

 

  We hope you will enjoy the novel as much as our reviewers so far, who considered it a real page turner (see Amazon reviews) and we hope you will recommend it to your friends.

 

  You may wonder why we have published the book ourselves and not through an Agent, the answer is two agents liked our book, which is an achievement in its self for 'new writers,' but they felt they would not find a publisher who would be interested in the period of the story and we hope with your help to prove them wrong.
